Odd problem when powering on PC

Hi guys just wondering if anyone has encountered this problem, when turning on my PC it powers up for a few moments and screen stays black, then it turns itself off again. A few seconds later it turns back on and boots fine (everytime). :confused:

If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful, the bios has been updated to latest version (Abit IP35-E) and I am using a 550W PSU.

What PSU, 550w sound like a Qutec cheapo job

might be power supply, or even graphics card.

Yeah it is a bit of a 'value' PSU (Win Power) but they are core2duo compatible apparently. The thing is it is working fine, it's just slightly annoying on cold boot

The 12v rails are both 18a afaik and voltages seem good atm.

After doing a little further trawling around it would appear the IP35-E suffers from a 'Double boot' issue were the motherboard powers on for a few seconds to test the hardware, powers off for a few seconds and then powers on and boots. Just one of those things I guess until maybe a fixed bios comes out. Thanks for the replies anyway guys
