explorer.exe is relentlessly opening new instances of my default email client. The only way I can stop it is by killing the process altogether, but it carries on doing it when I restart the it. I've tried rebooting and switching users, but no joy.
I've managed to lessen the problem a bit by changing the default email client to Outlook, which only allows one instance, instead of Thunderbird (which is a very difficult when you have several new Thunderbird windows opening up every second).
Could this be malware? Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
