Hey guys
I recently bought a new OcUK E2250SWDA 22" Widescreen LED Monitor but I have an odd problem when playing games on it. The picture is fine when web browsing and watching media but when I play games on it (WoW, Diablo 3 and Galactic Civilization 2 so far) there is a constant very faint vertical scrolling effect of horizontal lines of differing brightness/contrast.
The monitor has been set up correctly and I have tried the graphics card (a new Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC Windforce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card) on another monitor and didn't have the same problem.
It's only fairly faint but I notice it a lot and it shouldn't be happening. The monitor is currently connected to the graphics card with a VGA cable going in to the back of the monitor and the other end in to a DVI adapter in to the graphics card. I've used the adapter before with no problems and I've tried a different VGA cable but it had no effect. I haven't been able to try with a DVI cable as I don't have one at the moment.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks!
