Good Morning all,

Well last night I decided to install NFS: Most Wanted and play it again. Turned all the settings to max and played the game. It runs okay, but every few seconds, while driving in the game, it freezes for one second and carries on again, just fine. This is continues. Any one have any idea why it's doing this?

My games are installed on a second drive from the O/S.

Specs are:

Windows Vista Ultimate,
Intel Core 2 Duo - E4400, (Overclocked to 2.8Ghz)
2 x 1GB DDR2 667 Memory,
2 x 250GB SATA HDD's,
1x 160GB SATA HDD,
XFX 8800GTS 320MB XXX Version, (Pre-Clocked, by factory),

Now, all these games play fine:

Crysis (With every thing turned up high, plays just fine)
NFS: Carbon, (All settinsg maxed)
Doom3, (All settings maxed)
Airborne: (All settings maxed)

So, I would've thought this rig could handle NFS: Most Wanted, okay?

I'm using nVidia driver: 169.04.

Thanks for any help. :)

Well I'm on nVidia now, so I don't have CCC. I'm new to this make of card, so where would I find these options?

Maybe different drivers, might help?

I've never had an nvidia card, but i think it will be in start>all programs>nvidia>control panel, or they could have a system tray icon in the bottom right of the screen.
