Odd question, a strap for a bag

Friendly OcUK beings, I have a question for thee.

Ages ago, I bought an awesome bag from an awesome company. Unsurprisingly, everything was awesome, that is, until I went to attach the included strap to it. It wasn't wide enough and had a spongey bit that stretched to take the strain of the contents of the bag. Whilst some might be into this sort of thing, I find it disconcerting when nearly £3k's worth of kit starts moving towards the floor when I didn't expect it to!

My question to you, OcUK people, is: do you know where I can get just a strap for a bag from? It must have those neat metal clippey things at either end, and be nice and wide. If it has a padded slidey bit, that's cool too, but not essential. I tried making a strap out of a guitar strap. It did not go well.

edit: Irritatingly, googling "shoulder strap" yields the strap I don't like as the first result. O! How cruel, those Gods of Google be.

Try seeing if you can source a Dell laptop bag strap, they are exactly what you need. No idea where you could get one except the bay, but its thebest i can think of

The strap is a really heavy duty polyester fixed either end with steel (probably stainless) clips. They are on rotating spinners. The padded part can move freely but doesnt twist around the strap very well so its stable. the gel is very padded and wont wear down that much

It's the darndest thing! I started building this empire - I've got tonnes of different straps (email in trust, unsuitable pictures) but I forgot a shoulder strap! Schoolboy error when you think about it. Which I didn't.
