odd question about fans

im just starting to build my new system in a 800d and im putting 3 akasa blacks in the roof as exaust fans. What it is ive taken the akasa sticker off the them as it looks ugly but when ive taken the sticker off ive found a tiny magnet underneath can the fan run without it as if I try and fit it with it in it just comes out and sticks to the roof of the case, if it is need I suppose could stick it to the fan with something.

Hi just get some black tape and stick it down with that, but you could just put 1 drop of super glue and stick it in place as well, l would imaging the magnet is part of the fans workings.

yes thought as much to them being part of the workings, using a tiny piece of double sided sticky tape should work ok

If the sticker is connected to the rotor of the fan then the magnet is essential for the workings:

I assume they wouldn't just throw a magnet in there for the fun of it anyway
