Slightly odd question :p

What kind of graphics cards were around back in Christmas of '08 for around £150?

He probably means GFX cards, and let me guess, something was bought for someone, can't remember what gfx card it was, is considering upgrading it, and wonders if it is worth it?

Just my pyshic prediction, althought I did run it past paul the octopus, and he reckons the answer will be nvidia....

Miles off.
I do however mean GFX cards.

Uncle has a card he bought for £150 in '08, Im wondering what other options may have been around and comparing price/performance then to price/performance now to see how much its been affected by fluctuations, and recessions etc.

Kinda lame I know :<

Also, thanks Stulid, any idea about the nVidia side of things?
