Hi, i've only just started overclocking (am a complete noob at it!) and when i changed some settings to auto in prep for overclocking (and increased FSB by an extra 5MHz) my PC now no longer restarts like it used to.

Originally when it restarts, it'll do whatever it needs to, then you hear the fans go to a low speed, etc. Then fans spin up again and the PC starts up and begins posting, etc.

Now when i hit the restart button in XP or the save & exit function in bios which initiates a restart, it does the usual stuff, then turns itself completely off (e.g. no fans or LEDs) and you hear that click sound of it turning off, pauses for a few secs then turns itself on again.

I am slightly worried about this in case its doing any damage to my PC and wondering why it does this?

Thanks in advance!

Ok after setting my FSB back to the default, it no longer does this. So why does it do it if i my increase my FSB? Does this damage my computer in anyway or am i just worrying about nothing?
