Odd shadows in games?

When I enable shadows in games that give the option, I get 'grid' like ones, see attached.
This happens at stock speeds and when overclocked on an evga 8800gtx with 96.89 drivers, any ideas?:)

Yep that's sorted it, cheers:)
I forgot I went back to the supplied disk drivers after not being able to use Coolbits or nTune on the forceware 97.44s, muppet :o
