odd temp spike

a bit of a strange one, have had full cover blocks on my 6950's for over a year temps max out on bf3 both cards at 56/58 then last nite the bottom card was reading 89 top was still 58. i havent changed anything in the case

any ideas please

Have you taken the loop apart and cleaned it? Could just be a bit of gunk building up.

will drain the fluid tonight and strip the bottom block down

all cleaned out no gunk or build up in block, have reapplied tim and refilled the loop will see how it does now.
