Odd USB problem

One of my 2 USB ports on my Fractal Design Define 7 XL is behaving a little oddly, plug a USB stick into one port, and it is instantly recognised, the other takes about 2 minutes and then the drive loads, drive is detected after reboot. Have tried solutions such as checking for system corruption and removing all unplugged system devices. Any suggestions please, TIA.

I would try booting from a Linux live distro to see if the same thing is happening.

Least you know whether you are dealing with a hardware or software problem then.

Turned out to be hardware, a single pin had pulled off the motherboard, more a niggle than major disaster. Have second onboard USB header I can use, just need to disassemble as it is at right angles facing the front of the case.
