This is the weirdest PC issue I've ever come across. I'm using a Microsoft Intelligent Mouse Explorer 3.0 with a wireless hub, and a MS comfort wireless keyboard. I also have a wireless laptop and router next to the same PC with the wireless keyboard and mouse, and all work fine, until, I pick up my joypad, and move the pad towards the keyboard and then all hell breaks loose.
The keyboard has mind of its own, and the mouse jumps around, keys when pressed do not register, until I move the joypad away about 4 cm away from the keyboard and mouse, yet have the joypad next to the wireless hub, and no problems at all.
Obvously, channel or sensor issue from the pad, and wireless signal. Joypad is a siatek rumble 3D pad, quite old now, guess its time for a new pad. Due to how old the pad is now 5 + years old, still going strong though, recent hardware, such as my two week old PC they must conflict. It'll be the pad, MS I bet hadn't tested with something like the joypad I've got, its not a big issue, a new pad is what £30.. Max?
What are regarded as some of the best pads for the PC? I've heard you can just stick an XBOX 360 pad in, or even use a 360 wireless pad with a wireless MS hub, something I've already got.
What do you all use, for racing games, games that are better with pads, instead of keys and mouse? Thanks
