Odeon to be offering unlimited films for £17.50 per month Just registered my interest for a free £15 voucher.

apparently does not apply to 3D films and a few more restrictions not sure what yet. rolls out on the 5th March

looking forward to it don't have a Cineworld near me and Odeon is a 10 minute walk from my door or 2 minutes in the car.

For myself these cards aren't worth it.
Basically you need to see two films a month to break even. I'm not that regular.
Only have showcase near me. Hadn't heard of it till. I moved here

With Cineworld, they charge ~£10/film and the card is £16.90, so have to watch almost two movies ;)

Thing is with me, because I can see as much as I want, I do. I find myself going for movies I normally wouldn't see on a pay per ticket basis.

Glad I did, seen some excellent stuff by "accident".

Also if the movie is rubbish, you can just walk about and watch something else at no extra cost.

I'll sign up for a year and see how I go.

2 must see films on the big screen is rare but 2 films a month is easy. I used to go twice a week at uni with the £1.50 before 3pm deal.

I'm only don't see that many due to price. If I could see loads for a fixed price I would make use if it. Especially as I'm off work on odd days and odd times. Meaning I can and have been to cinema during the day and it's surprisingly good as it's like 6people in threw.

I only go around once a month due to price, but with having no kids or commitments I would quite happily go 2 times a week.

going to give it a go for a year and see how I go, But i will quite happily watch everything be it terrible or not.

Very true.
I'm not sure if I'd go more if I was paying for it. In winter maybe, in summer.. Probably not.
Shame they don't do a couples one (2 people) for 25.now that I'd go for.

Ever since we've had Unlimited cards we have been to see loads of films we wouldn't have "paid to see" so to speak.
Most have been at least all right and it is fun to watch films off-radar.
Last year we did 54 films, so quite easily made our money back on the cards. 3D films being included means they are an option - refuse to pay uplifts. 25% of food doesn't really matter as if we are going to eat we take stuff in.
Would also like to see a couples card released.

ERgh, annoying that they do this just as I have bought a new 55 inch tv. I was just going to wait for films to come out on blu ray/ iTunes but will have to reconsider now.

Signed up for this today to replace my Cineworld Unlimited. I prefer the nearest Cineworld but it's 25 miles away whereas the nearest odeon is a 10 min walk.

How?!?

I'm paying £16.90/month, never seen any deals for that cheap.

Yeah, it can be done.

We paid £150 each for ours with an offer through my partners work. I can't remember exactly, but it can be done. Then after a year, if you decide to renew then you get 3D thrown in for free and I think the % off food goes up.

I'm glad we got ours, we see probably around 30 films at the cinema per year so it is well worth it. Our nearest Cineworld is 10 minutes drive and the nearest Odeon is terrible.

My nearest Cineworld, Bexleyheath is a toilet. If I was to rank cinemas in my area, I'd go.

1. Showcase Bluewater, excellent cinema and superb choice of food. The gallery makes a nice treat.
2. Cineworld at the O2, decent cinema. Again, good choice of food
3. Odeon Greenwich, IMAX, but not much in the way of food nearby
4. Cineworld Bexleyheath, bad cinema and nearest restaurant is possibly the worst Frankie and Bennys I've ever been in, and that's saying something.

Just a little guide for anyone who lives near me.
