Oem and reinstall ?

If you have an oem windows would you have to re-install or buy another copy if you added something new like a graphics card as my gf has vista oem and im about to put a 8800gt into it.

You should not need a clean install, but you may need to re-activate which should be no problem if you call M$

legally you only need to buy a new version if you replace the mobo.

As said before, you will only need to buy a new Windows License if you replaced the motherboard without using warranty due to failure.

If it's Vista you may be asked to reactivate by calling the number supplied.
