Oem components into new case?

Is it possible for me to put an oem pc such as a dell dimension into a case like the 690 ii lite. I saw the 690ii for a good price so I bought it before I got the rest of my system. Could I put the dell I'm currently using into the new case or do dell components only fit in dell cases?

You will need to check the connectors on the I/O for the power switch ect as majority of time Dell use there own connectors and also the screws holes in the motherboard which connect to the case may be different.
