Hi All,

My OEM E6400 has came this morning - it appears to be a B2 stepping. So it looks like all the new stuff is B2 steppings....

I did have a quick go at overclocking, but i'm using a AB9 Pro, which is good but its got a werid bug where instead of using CAS 5 for the RAM it sets the RAM to CAS 3 which i think stopping me from getting to 333FSB (currently 300).

I need to play and I'll report back in the overclocking forum.

I didn't get it from OcUK but it looks like Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB) (MY-092-CS) which I guess is the same your running?

There has been a few other people with RAM problems on the Abit USA forums with modules not working with the AB9 Pro's and some also have same issue as me - RAM running at CAS 3 when it should be 5. Only happens when RAM speed is set to 533 fsb / 1:1.

I wonder if this memory problems are related to the P965 chipset or crappy BIOS's...
