Hi does an i7 OEM 920 D0 exist? And what does the packaging look like.
Basically i bought a "new" i7 920 d0 online. The chip was covered in bubble wrap and came in a brown envelope. Didn't come with a cover or heatsink/fan. Anyway short story is that there are scratches and thermal residuce still on the surface. My guess he just pulled it out of a system and sent it. I can't really complain as I only paid £140 but he stated it was new and so I have rights to build a case against him which will happen if testing the chip fails.

Bit unhappy with stock temps for 46 degrees idle but thats nothing some better thermal paste and possible lapping can fix!
