OEM vs Retail.

Since the 6700k launched without a Fan what is the real-time difference oem cpu, before I buy. please.

Haven't checked but usually one of the big differences is warranty. Retail also come sealed in a box so you know its not a reject from someone cherry picking and rejecting poor chips i.e. for overclocking purposes.

i would always pick a retail. many oem chips are checked sifted through at many places.

I think the warranty on a retail CPU is with Intel and an OEM CPU with the vendor you buy it from.

well its passed all the basic tests sure it will be fine 6700k I tend to run stock for a year or so then oc as general pc speed increase thanks. Always happy to buy here.
