Has anyone here guys ever complained to OFCOM about anything?

I am having some serious issues with my sky account.

I will try and cut a long story short:

Two and Half years ago i moved into my new house with my girlfriend, i took my sky with, which at the time was sky hd, when we moved in and i phoned i took out sky broadband aswell as it was a good deal, the person on the phone told me about sky talk but i didnt take it as i was a new customer with BT and couldnt break my contract. The person on the phone must hae added because a few days later i got a bill from BT for £400 odd. I got that sorted no problem. But sky never stopped charging me the £10 for sky talk.

I noticed this on my account around July last year, one a nd a half years after it being added so obviously i was overcharged. You might find this next part hard to believe, i kept track of all the times i had phoned sky to sort this matter out and it equates to 41 phone calls and, wait for it over 19 hours on the phone trying to sort this one matter out.

Anyway in January this year i said enough is enough and found an email address for sky customer service, i wrote a pretty long email detailing everything and within 24 hours a nice girl phoned me back, she said the ususal sorry blah blah blah and sent me out a cheque to the value of £242.40 and explained that the talk service had been removed from my account.

I checked my account at the end of February and iwas charged again, i sent another email and this time the money was credited back to my sky account, I checked again at the end of March and low and behold the same thing happened, so i sent another email saying how disapointted i was and if this service is not stopped ASAP, my money refunded and some sort of compensation given i would be writing to OFCOM.

So i have just checked my account again and yes, you have guessed it they have done the same thing again? I honestly dont understand how hard this is, surely its just some sort of tick box saying this customer has sky talk, un tick the damn thing and job done, but as usual sky complicate everything.

Over the years i have purchased a lot from sky and the really funny thing is i want to take sky talk out but they cant add it because they say i already have it. This is how i found out about last year when i phoned up about it. So since last year i ahve been paying BT £40 a month and £40 a month to sky when, if i had sky talk i should only have really paid around £30 for sky tv, talk and broadband.

What i want to know guys if any of you have ever complained to OFCOM about sky before and what was the outcome and also if you have an email address for them?

regards
ace

oh and sorry this post is so long, lol

Write a letter to their complaints department and send it recorded delivery.

Clearly set out that you think this situation is untenable and that you feel you have been harassed. Spell out the amount of your time you have spent trying to help them correct their mistake and that you will not be continuing to do this.

Request compensation for any costs you have incurred that have not yet been repaid, add interest of 8% per year for the duration and then add a further amount of your choice as compensation for the "ongoing severe stress" and your time.

Request details of the steps they are taking to ensure that this will never appear on your bill again.

Essentially, give them one last chance to rectify WITH compensation.
