Off to Milan for a week - start of Feb.

Hi

I'm off to Milan the start of Feb for 5 days, the return flights are £85 per person from Manchester to Milan.
Car hire is crazy cheap at under £35 for a small hatchback car.

Hotel is the main expense, but looking forward to some nice cool, wintery exploration this year.

I must have been to Milan about 30 times. It is a city that will leave you left unfulfilled if you don't do it properly, so do plan in advance.

Probably why I like it when I visited. I didn't feel like I needed a car either. Was happy with walking and public transport.

Watch out for street scammers, they were much more forceful then other European cities.

Yeah I've never had a hire car in Milan --- Trams, Uber is plentiful and the subway is brilliant. Traffic is carnage, and taxis can use the tramway.
