on first glance they look good, pretty sharp and pretty good saturation. It's just a pity it wasn't a nicer day but i suppose you can't help that!

On the contrary it was a beautiful sunny day! I found that if the sky was exposed correctly the horses were black as sin! So I tried to expose correctly for the action and let the sky blow.

It was my first sports photo jaunt so Im relatively pleased how it came out. That olympus 40-150mm lens is damn good!

Not at all, that is better.

You know, the pics look much better on my cameras lcd than they do in Rawshooter - much brighter and colourful.

Is it me or do that horses leggs look wierd?

I think it was in mid-turn at the time, so I guess it looks wierd as the horse is turning away on a wide arc.
