Well, as I posted yesterday, my install of Ubuntu went slightly pear shaped. It installed to only one disc of a RAID 1 array, caused zero functionality of my drives, I couldn't boot to either XP or Ubuntu. In fact the only OS I had was the Ubuntu CD!!
Fortunately, I had the RAID 1 drives from my dismantled Shuttle lying around so I popped them in and changed the GFX card drivers and I'm back with an OS.
The good news, is I found 2 partially completed CPU WU's (with decent PPD too) on these spare drives, so I am going to finish them off before I try to install SUSE Linux which I think has RAID 1 support during install. Infact, I have also rescued the partially completed GPU and CPU WU's from the Ubuntu sabotaged drives and shall finish them too.
It is funny today, yesterday it wasn't funny.
