Anyone playing? It's pretty good, if you can get a lag free game. It is a free to play FPS, like a mash up of Quake and Team Fortress 2, which launches from your browser a la Quake Live. It's built with the Unity 3D engine and looks quite nice. Not BF3 nice, but it has a consistent clean style. It's open beta, hence the lag I guess, and you can sign in with your Google account. The menus are a little confusing and there are loads of useless upgrades on which to spend the in-game currency. Weapons and stat boosts can also be bought, but it looks like a long grind if you're not prepared to pay

I've been on a few nights this week, I think it's pretty good and a nice change from the likes of BF3
Welcome to the Offensive Combat Open Beta-- the world's most awesome free-to-play, browser-based first-person shooter! Interests include stabbing limecats in the neck with wooden swords, shooting trollfaces in the smirk with a variety of ballistic and plasma-based weapons, and pwning the hell out of anyone we kill with a variety of silly little dances.
Because we are currently slamming the Open Beta, anyone and everyone who wants to play can do just that by signing up using the buttons provided at the top of this page. Once you're in, please remember to hit us back with whatever feedback you may have by visiting our forums where you can leave your name and your message without an annoying beep. Not only does that sort of stuff help us make Offensive Combat even better, it also helps you find new friends and enemies to play with as well.
Happy pwning!
