SMS Stuff taken from the blog

Shortly after releasing Mark of the Ninja, we received this email from one of our fans asking for SMS alert tones…

Klei Entertainment,
I have just recently bought your new product “Mark of the Ninja” and I am loving the game! Definitely worth the money!
I was hoping somebody could point me in the direction of an in-game sound I am looking for. I am looking for the sound that an in-game security device makes after it is triggered and then returns to normal status. It is a computer like alert, that sounds very similar to the Halo:ODST superintendent alert chime. I love the way the chime sounds, quick and clean and thought it would make a perfect iphone SMS text tone.
Is this tone available to the public and can it be downloaded??

The answer was originally no, but that was only because we had never really thought of it before Austin’s email!
After working with our Sound Designer we put together a collection of SMS alert tones. We also tossed in some ringtones made from the “alert” music composed by Vince De Vera & Jason Garner. The files are zipped as .mp3 or iPhone (.m4r) formats. Enjoy
