Offical Pie Thread

Apart from greggs which seems to be the only pies i can find, oh and some places have these paka pies.

Where i come from the petrol stations have shops in them and they sell these pies, http://www.piemanspantry.co.za/home.html

I realy miss these pies, does any of you know of a good pie place in London that is not a chain but sells good pies. There is one at leytonstone station but it is not very good, not much meat and the pastry is poor.

well not from the petrol station like you think, the BP and SHELL garages in sa have the same type of shop going as the M&S do when they ahve the 24 hour petrol garages.

i am english but i grew up in south africa, this guy told me that he found a place in london with good pies but he couldn't explain where it was, i think he was lieing to me.

there is an aussie pie shop in shepherds bush, but that is not THAT great.
