Office 10

Hey guys, computer in the office pretty much opens up Word/Exel as soon as you click on the icon. However at home its sits with the user information bit for a good 10-12 seconds before opening, and tbh my rig ain't spanking but I'd expect it to be quicker than.

Is there anything I can do or look at to try and alleviate this issue? Its just more annoying than anything

Doesn't office normally have something that loads up with windows? perhaps its been disabled or not setup right? also a defrag might help.

Also, check you version is up to date, with latest service packs, patches etc.

just ran office update and its the same now even with SP3, ran speeddisk last night as well :confused:

Is your home pc running much?
Services... memory... etc?
