Office 2000 Problem.

Howzit Guys,

I've just installed Microsoft Office 2000 on a system at work. Everything works, but Word. Excell, Front Page, ect all work. However, when I start Word, it loads, shows Word splash screen. Then stays like that. I have reinstalled it, even removed it. Tried a different CD, same story...

Anyone got any ideas?

Was it a brand new install of Office 2000 or was there a previous version of Office 2000 or indeed any other version?

It might be worth checking out the Microsoft support site or googling to see if there is a page somewhere that tells you how to remove all traces of Office. The uninstaller might only remove the main files and there could be some hidden files somewhere else that are causing this problem.

I assume you can't really format the PC and reinstall Windows/Office?
