Just wondering.

Office 2007 - Can i use it on my old pc for afew weeks before moving it?

I dont want it permanently tied to it. Cant really figure out the agreement. Unlike Vista where info is everywhere.

i would think the same licensing applies to Office as does to Vista. If you buy retail, then yes you can install it one machine then install it on your new one later (as long as you uninstall it from your old machine). If you bought OEM, then once you have activated it, it will be tied to the motherboard. I'm not sure if you still get 30 days to activate it or not, but if you did, then you could always install it on your old machine WITHOUT ACTIVATING, use it for 30 days then install and activate on your new machine. But i wouldn't advise that, as if it activates by it self, or if you do it accidentally, then you're down the proverbial creek without said paddle.

I had a look at Office 07 on my friends comp and it looked weird.

For what I do, Office on the Mac is best for me.
