Hi,

I bought Office 2007 Enterprise through work (Home Use Program) a while back. It allows me to install it on 3 machines (i.e. 3 licences).

I am using one at the moment but the 2 other installs were on machines that have now been formatted.

I am a bit lost as to how to get MS to "release" these 2 installs/licences so I can reinstall and reregister them.

Any idea? Would the contact details on here be the correct ones: https://licensing.microsoft.com/eLicense/L1033/Overview.asp

Office 2007 is on a VLK 1.0 key, so I don't think you need to. If you have problems activating, just explain your situation to an MS representative and they should sort you.

If they are formatted they are no longer in use, just install and activate on a new machine, if it fails on-line call them as per the Activation Wizards instructions and perform the activation this way. They will ask what the crack is, just say the machine is formatted and you are re-installing.

You are not in breach of your 3 machine use.

Well, should have just tried it first. Activation over the phone led to an automated system where I just had to punch in a code on the phone from my screen. It read back a different code which I punched back in the activation screen and that was it.

Thanks.
