Office 2007 Issue

Hello,
Everytime I try and open a document in either Word or Excel 2007, I get an error or it takes ages to open and fails. In the bottom left hand corner of the program it says "Running Virus Scan", so I don;t know if this has anything to do with it. Everything seems rather random and iregular so next time I see the error I will post it here for you.

Can anyone help

Cheers for that. It was the Norton Office 2007 plugin that was causing the errors.

This problem was on my mothers PC and we are just waiting for our norton license to run out and then we are getting Kaspersky for that machine!

I can't stand norton either!
