Office 2007 Student/Teacher License Retail
Does this license entitle me to install on one or more than one machine?
Just looking through the MS site and couldn't make head nor tail of the full terms and conditions properly.
Was thinking of installing 2007 on my desktop as well as the existing license on my Laptop and would like to stay all nice and above board.

I think previous threads have been made on this and the consensus is that you can install this on up to 3 computers. If you look on another shop site you'll see it says that you can install this on 3 PCs. So you could have this on your main PC, your laptop and another PC/laptop as well.

I think previous versions of Office allowed 2 installs, one PC and one laptop but that you couldn't use them both concurrently. So you could use Office on PC and then on laptop but not at the same time. Bit pedantic that. Not sure how MS would catch you there.

The Office Teacher/Student licence allows you to apply for a CD of Office (What ever year, 2007 in this case)

So you buy the pack for £70 or so then you write off to Microsoft or whoever, with you providing proof your a Student/Teacher and providing you provide proof they then send you a CD.

Edit - I think you knew that before, yes you can install on more than one PC.

No need to apply for the CD/DVD any more - nor do you have to be a student or teacher.
The new version (2007) is called Student & Home edition.
You do not have to be a student, there doesn't have to be a teacher in the house etc.
It is aimed at home users only, so you cannot use it in a business environment or to "make money" so to speak.

The license allows you to install it on any three machines you own or have access to.
Just remember however that Outlook has now been removed from this version.
