i was just wondering if anyone had tried it, office 2007 for students and supposedly now for workers of educational institutions
Does the license expire when you are no longer a student?
sid
Nah it'll be county.sch.uk. So for schools in Bedfordshire it'll be beds.sch.uk etc.i think you need a .ac.uk email address to confirm you are a student which i dont think many secondary schools use
You should be. As long as you have a .ac.uk email addy you should be fine.![]()
Yup. I think I posted that on page 1 somewhere.just read this
You must hold a valid email address at a UK, Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man educational institution, ending in either ‘.ac.uk’, ‘ac.im’, ‘ac.gg’ or ‘ac.je’.
If you are a Higher Education student, you must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate level course If you are a Further Education student, you must have at least 15 hours of scheduled contact time for your course. Also, you may be asked by Microsoft to provide proof of enrolment status (i.e. Student card).
Ouch!If you are unable to provide proof of enrolment, you will be required to pay the full retail price of Office Ultimate 2007 (approximate ERP £599.99).
so this is only available to college/uni students not secondary school
You can always use the software4students option on this page if you don't have a college email account.

Ordered mine Wednesday afternoon and disks arrived Friday morning.
So with this you get all the software and cd key and can install it straight away? So whats stopping anyone from buying this instead of the non academic software and saving £££££'s?
Doesn't seem that strict though. I could select my old school perhaps?1. Register as a Member
All you have to do is select the school or college you are associated with, then enter your name and contact details. You are now registered.
