office 2007 update problem

hi ya,
ive just got office 2007, omg it looks sweet but i have one little problem is that it want to download the updates, tho i have about 50meg of my download limit left untill tuesday, and if it download them it will go over and i will have to pay more and ma mum will not be happy, lol i know im sad. what i am wanting to know is how to set windows from stop auto updating just office 2007 so i can just do it when i want, e.g when i have my limt back

if it help i seem to rember when i install office 2007 there was a option to turn office updater of, but i can not find it in the setting in word, have looked every wear, i would just reinstall it but would take ages and plus would losses my setting

You need to turn automatic updates off via control panel, as Microsoft send updates for office via the same method as vista & IE updates.

Or select the option "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them"
