I installed this around 30 days ago however it will not let me input the activation code. It just keeps informing me that it's invalid.

I think it maybe due to the fact that it's the 64 bit version, however I cannot seem to find a key for that version.

Can anyone help?

Where did you download it from?

Can you not just sign up on microsoft.com for a new key?

I did try that however it wouldn't accept it.

Its awkward, there's a link in the activation window when it appears to go to the Microsoft site where a product key is displayed on a web page, you copy and paste it in. I must say, it's a terrible way to go about it. :mad:

Microsoft advice

Hi, when i was downloading office 2010 trial there was something on the ms site that suggested using the 32 bit version even if running 64 bit windows. Dont know if thats the cause of your problem. hope it helps

on technet the key is the same for 32bit and 64bit so i doubt that's the problem

It ain't all that good, so don't worry. Got mine on technet and wasn't overly impressed. Outlook has lots of "social networking" features.

It's actually very weird how you fix this. When you input the key it looks as if it's going to reinstall it. You have to follow this to completion. If you cancel it, like I did, it doesn't activate / reactivate the installation.

P.S. I quite like it - nothing majorly different to 2007 but it's a lot quicker, for me anyway.
