Just made the jump over to Office 2010.
I've added my old pst file (from office 2003) to Outlook and all is well.
Just re-setup my two email accounts... but Outlook has added each email account as a separate data file..

Can I combine them all into the one data file? I don't want 3 of them!!

But in my old pst file, I have the two email account, gmail and yahoo.
I want to combine the 2 new email account pst's that Outlook has created back into the original...

it's probably how you're accessing each mail account that is different. if you had been using pop3 previously, then they could all share the same pst.

now it could be that gmail is configured to use IMAP which would show as a separate file/inbox. with IMAP, it's best to forget the existence of local files because all mail remains on the server.

Cheers Marc. I've realised, for some reason, that Outlook configured gmail as an IMAP account and not a POP account like I had it configured for previously!

Outlook won't let me change the account settings of the email account so will have to create another and then change the default location of the pst.

Thanks chaps :)
