office 2010 download version

i got a product key card bundled in with a new laptop but it has office 2007 pre-installed.... :rolleyes:

now i've found the website when i can download it from. i'm just wondering if anybody has used it?

the reason i ask is because i only have mobile dongle for internet and i don't want to download it now. i'm hoping it's an ISO or full installer .exe that i can download at someone else's house and then bring home on a USB stick - my concern is that it'll be one of these poxy web installers like so much other MS software is these days. any ideas guys?

The one I download from Software4Students was an self extracting exe file and was over a 1gig I think.

You can download the free trial version from Microsoft HERE, and just use your key on it.

hehe, i followed the links and it then prompted me to install click and run which was a 2mb file which then installed components on command - exactly what i didn't want.

.....but after digging around in the FAQs i managed to find some alternate download links which give the full size files. cheers.
