I've been using that sidebar for about 5 years now, properly useful!
I have Office 2007, worth me upgrading to 2010? Not cheap enough on the cheap software for students website we all know and love yet for my liking, I paid £34 for 2007 Enterprise only in October....
Might just wait until my Uni upgrades to 2010 actually, then I only have to be used to one software package.

Just installed it today as I get it via Action Pack Subscription. Seems a bit quicker to open/close the programs and the File ribbon is better than the circle bit for end users I think.
Not sure if its worth the upgrade for those on 2007 though.

What is the benefit of 64bit over 32bit office?
Surely a word processing and spreadsheet program doesn't need anything special to run?

Some massive (and I mean massive) spreadsheets can benefit from it. That's about it.
