Hey,

I can get Office 2010 through my company on the Home Use Program for a tenner, but am having trouble finding out if it can be installed on multiple machines, namely my PC and also laptop.

Anyone know if this can be done and will it work as the T&Cs don't mention anything?

I can't find any info either but I imagine you can't. Sounds a bit cheeky to be able to install Office on multiple machines for a tenner.

Its only a tenner, can you not buy another copy or is it limited to one copy per staff member?

Unless it is a Home License (up to 3 machines) I would imagine it is single machine only.

Limited to one copy.

I thought it was 2/3 machines too, plus the cheap £50 student edition apparantly allows 2/3 machines, but no info on this one.

Have sent an e-mail off to M$, but I doubt they will be that helpful :p

Although this is true - it is also limited to one per member of staff.
The idea is that members of staff might want to do some work at home and hence have a copy of the Office suite.
It's not simply designed to be a cheap may of giving all of your machines Office.

It's limited to one per member of staff (however as with many things, this system is governed by email address so can be exploited).
It maybe installed on a single system - this is not a Home User package for 2-3 machines, it's for one.
The number of HUP versions your company has depends on the number of licenses for Office they hold.
If they hold 150 Office licenses then there are 150 HUP's up for grabs.

That's about it really.
Oh and OP - please don't write M$.
It's something "kiddies" used to do a few years back.
It wasn't funny then and it isn't funny now - many people see it (along with Micro$oft) as showing a lack of maturity by the poster.
