Thanks for the heads up - also downloading now. So what is the best way to install as I would prefer to keep my 2007 settings, e mail etc, will it upgrade or not???

Thanks for any info guys

Mark

Edit: Took a chance and upgraded - all seems ok so far.Outlook is very nice i think.Need to look in more depth, but so far so good.

Downloading from technet now, any ideas when it goes available on volume licensing? i need the volume license version to finish of my windows 7 image ready to push it out to 500 machines in the summer :D

Supposed to be on volume licensing site today (Tue)... we already have the 2010 MAK/KMS keys.

Liking it so far, though the conversation view in Outlook 2010 seems to be essentially broken, I'm hoping that the Exchange 2010 server does something to it that puts emails truly in a conversation view like they are in the 2010 OWA app.

Looking forward to the work rollout of SharePoint and Exchange 2010 over the next month or two.

Does Outlook handle IMAP nicely in this version? By that I mean does deleting an email send it to the trash/deleted folder rather than applying a strikethrough and waiting for you to manually purge and compact? That really killed Outlook's use-ability for me so far. I'm still using Thunderbird 3 because of this.

Just gave it a try, it indeed does remove it from the folder and relocate it into the Trash folder for the IMAP account :)

Ah yes hadn't noticed our MAK/KMS keys had appeared, i'll never understand why there just dropped randomly into the middle of the list, why not add the newest at the top or something (and group the same products together! really irritates me that)

Got exchange 2010 sorted 2 weeks ago, just need the VL download now

Also can we expect the office 2010 KMS host licence pack to be released at the same time do you think? (if this is even a requirement to using KMS keys for office 2010)
