Office 2010

Got my e-mail for this earlier today and downloaded the x64 package at work :D. Haven't had chance to install yet.

I got entered for the Beta earlier this week.
It's much, much faster at loading the application than Office 2007 was, and I love some of the interface tweaks.

No significant errors yet, but I haven't really pushed it too much yet :p

yeah running x64 version myself and have yet to come across and bugs.

Only used Word, Exel and Publisher though!

Like the look of the new interface, might take a bit of getting used to though :p

I've been running it for a few weeks now. If anything, it looks a little bland. Great features which enhance upon 2K7 but its just, I don't really know, colourless.

I've just installed it and it looks quite good to me, picked up all of my previous emails etc, with no problems, quite impressed so far.

Just checked the Connect site and it turns out I had an invite waiting, never got the email though. Downloading it now.

Uninstalled 2010 and re-installed 2007 and my Outlook was totally screwed up, and now Google Calendary Sync for Outlook refuses to work ... lesson learn't, dont install it on your main rig by accident lol

What's wrong with Office 2003? The best MS Office version by far IMHO.

There's nothing wrong with 2003. Just like there isn't anything wrong with 2007, and I don't suppose there is with 2010 either.

I personally find the improvements and interface in 2007 a massive improvement over 2003, but then I wasn't entirely up to speed with all it's features so didn't mind the changes.

While I will argue those who blindly believe the newest to be the best just because it's new, I also can't stand those who don't like change just because it's different.

I stick to office 97 ! These are far the best as many colleges, works and schools still using office 97 and ingorned all the new office upgrade from microsoft.

I installed the Office 2010 Technical Preview earlier, and so far it looks very good! I received my invite yesterday :D

Got any screenshots of the new interface then? I could never get used to the bloody ribbon in 2007 on the work machines, so stuck with 2003.

Then you'll never upgrade your office again.
The Ribbon io stay - thank god.

Oh well. I guess MS aren't getting any more money out of me this year or next. I'm sure they won't miss it though ;)
