Office 365 Home Question.

Quick noob question. Having not used office 365. Would it be possible to pay for the Office 365 Home version (allowing 5 devices) and share a mailbox / one drive access across multiple devices?

Or do you have to step up to small business (which seems a bit overkill) for this?

Just use the same login on each device shouldn't be an issue.

Should do as long as all the devices log on with the same Microsoft account. I use Office 2016 as I get a copy for £9.95 through work and allows me to install it on two devices.

Both Laptop and desktop have it installed and I log in to windows on both through my hotmail account. Both mirror each other for onedrive uploads.

Home does not include a mailbox/mail service; if you want their hosted Exchange you need a business package.

If he is just using an MSN/Hotmail/Live/Outlook address it'll sync across all devices which is what I think he was alluding to in the OP
