Hi guys,

I have had to setup my office 365 email account with 123-reg domain again. I cannot seem to find the TXT record which is format MS:MSXXXXXX. Can anyone assist as to where I would find this?

I can get the autodiscover, MX records and TXT but it doesn't show it in the MS:MSXXXXXX format. The record I can view started with "v="

Thanks in advance

Mine looks like:-

The TXT/SPF entry is
Code:
v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

Thanks for sharing :)

According to office 365 admin all records are fine.

I can send from my email account but I can't receive. When I send an email from my other account to my office 365 email account I get the following message:

Final-Recipient: rfc822; "Domain Here"
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0
Remote-MTA: dns; mx0.123-reg.co.uk. ("IP Here", the server for the domain "domain name".)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 This domain is not hosted here
Last-Attempt-Date: Sat, 26 May 2018 04:36:12 -0700 (PDT)

EDIT: I have spoken to support and I need to wait around 4 hours for the MX records to update. Just a little confusing because when I originally set it up it was almost instant.

I have DNS Entry "*" Type "A" at the top and then an IP which is different to "DNS Entry - @ Type - A - IP"

Are you looking in the Office 365 admin center for the "MS=msXXXXXXXX" value?

https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...f09-8972-c1b03ea85a67?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

Yes, I must be missing something?

The bit I am stuck on is "On the Domains page, choose your domain, then choose Start setup".

I choose setup > domain then as its been setup before it doesn't say "start setup". It says "setup complete" just gives me the settings but not MS=MSXXXXXX".

One time when I check the DNS settings it comes up with no problems then the next time is saying problems with all records. When it has problems with all records I get the message "Nameservers used: ns1.domainhasexpired.com, ns2.domainhasexpired.com". Should be NS123reg etc.

I have had to activate ICANN with my host this morning so maybe it is just a waiting game?

EDIT: I just refreshed the page and it come up with no errors 0.o "All DNS records are correct, no errors found."
