Office 97 download

Hey,

I have a problem in which I need a copy of office 97. I have a license here but no media.

Anybody have an old copy lurking around they wouldn't mind putting onto an FTP?

It's going to be hard to find one. doubt you'll find it online so you'll only likely to get it from someone who has it but for it being 12 years old I'm not sure it's likely for anyone to still have it hidden in a draw

We have shed loads of original Office 97 CD's still knocking about at work, will send you one if you want?

Thanks. I'm possibly a little far away to send it to. Would you be able to zip a cd and upload it? If not I have a UK address you could send it too if I'm really suck.

i have office 2000 pro which has access in it, is that any good?

I have installed office 2000 and the database will not convert from access 97 to 2000. As I don't know the history of this database I can only assume it is using some Office 97 or even 95 features.

Still open to any office 97 offers.

Access 2000 can open 97 files without converting them in any way. I'd suggest something is wrong with the file.

I can open the file but cannot edit from design view etc.

No problems, I will Zip it and stick it on my FTP server and send you the details in Trust.

Does the file have a mdb or an mde extension?
