Office free on IOS?

Guys, is Word, Excel etc free on IOS?

In Itunes it says free, but I don't believe it...

It's free on Android so I don't see why not.

Only on devices that have screens over 10"

iPhones, iPads (excluding Pro) can use it for free including editing.

I have the office apps installed on my iphone, they work fine creating, editing and viewing documents without issue, no subscription fees here! Don't forget you have the apple equivalent apps too

(pages, numbers and keynote)

Yes you can, in the ms office apps you can save them to onedrive or other cloud services or locally. It doesn't give exact file location, it simply says 'iphone'.
