Sorry about the n00b question lads, I have a retail version of the 2007 office, its installed on my PC, but I also want to install it on my wifes PC, what are the licencing rules here? Am I allowed to install and register again or not?

As far as i'm aware, the home/student license allows up to 3 installations/users.

Not 100% if this means 3 users/installs being used at the same time, or 3 installs on different machines/laptops.

You can indeed install Home/Student version of Office 2007 on three PCs.

Q: Can I install Office Home and Student 2007 on more than one device?

A:Yes, if you have purchased a retail license of Office Home and Student 2007. The retail license terms permit installation and use of Office Home and Student 2007 on three devices. For more information about determining what type of license you have purchased and to obtain an overview of your licensing agreement, visit the Microsoft Software License Terms (MSLT) for the 2007 Microsoft Office system.
