Afternoon all

My partner has finally decided after working from home for two years that she needs a monitor to add to her work laptop.

Work will pay up to £100 but she can add her own money but I doubt she will want to go more than £150. Second hand is not an option.

She'll be using it for typical office work and reviewing plans, she works for a local planning authority.

I bought an HP 27fw at the start of the pandemic which is fine enough for work, not sure if this is available anymore and/or if there is something better for the money?

Any recommendations please?

Many thanks

Hello! For the majority of office worker jobs, a 24-inch monitor will be adequate. The majority of individuals find a typical 23 to 24 inch desktop monitor to be completely comfortable, and it will be a decent size and budget compromise. If, above all, you don't want to worry, a 24-inch Dell IPS display will do the work.

Wow. Bunch of cheapskates.

Check the VAT situation. If she's looking at planning applications with diagrams etc a 4k monitor will really help.
