I recently uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2007. Before when I would first login I'd have the one note icon in my system tray and I could double click it to add notes on the fly. This doesn't seem to happen any more as OneNote no longer appears in the tray.

I've checked msconfig and services.msc and I can't see anything obvious that I'm missing, although I seem to recall having the groovemonitor thing in there before that isn't there now.

Anyone got any thoughts on this? Having OneNote in the tray was quite convenient.

Cheers

Try going into OneNote, select Tools and then Options from the menu. Choose Other and then make sure the 'Place OneNote icon in the notification area of the taskbar' is ticked/checked.
