I'm not sure SSD speed is a concern, it's just to load Win8.1 and a few minor programs on, most files will be attached to a NAS. For what it's worth a small HDD might even suffice, but I don't foresee a huge cost saving.
What about the intel G3220 to shave another tenner off?
I find a G3240 for my dad is just fine, he does accounting and general office flim flam also and it's nice
The SSD makes all the difference
I wouldn't go for that PSU, it's not a good quality unit, especially in comparison to the SuperFlower one stulid chose
Also the b-grade cases you might find could be iffy... but maybe you'll have good luck(could just be a DSR return)
This is for my Father too, my work PC is being built right now too, but happens to have a 4790K, 16GB ram and either the new AMD card or a GTX 980. You know, emails these days need high end PC's
I have a Bitfenix Prodigy B-Grade somewhere at home too, was in perfect condition, just a return. I've always been happy with B grade OCUK stuff.
Can't seem to make it any cheaper than this. Any glaring errors?

Apologies for image, OCUK plugin seems to not be working for me
I believe it'll just be eM Client, Chrome, Word, Excel etc. Account's are done online. Are you going to run accounts software like Sage, Moneysoft or just excel?
