... watching this now on Film 4. How does a 15 year old film manage to stay so relevant to today's working life. This film was made pre 9/11.

It's a film about the monotony of working life and being **** on by people above you who have no business being in the positions they are in and all the psychology, politics and ******** that goes with work environments. It will always be relevant so long as we continue to have those kinds of working environments. And it's more relevant than ever since the credit crunch / bank collapse / housing bubble with the collapse of various institutions, downsizing of companies and organisations, and the repossession of many peoples homes due to that.
 

Yes, but I think even the small details are still relevant. Sitting in traffic, the printer that doesn't work, filing [TPS] reports, "sounds like a case of a the Mondays"... all very relevant in 2014.
