Official 169.21 question

Some peeps aint as clued up and dont know there is a Beta section on the Nvidia site.

Don't be ridiculous. Anyone can clearly see the link that says "Beta drivers" just a single click from the NVIDIA home page, on the same page you get normal drivers from. I don't mind helping people, but when they don't want to even remotely try for themselves I don't see the point.

To be fair, somtimes the beta drivers make it to other sites before they are on nvidia's site and also Ive noticed they appear on the US site before the UK version. So someone not so clued up could easily miss out on the very latest beta version.

Insulting 2 people in a such a short thread!

If thats your definition of help then dont bother "helping" me again.

If you use profiles then don't use the 169.28's as they buggered, dreadfull drivers, they buggered in the .21's to, and the .28's are only supposed to be used with UT3, they just an update to fix some issues in it, so if you don't play it then don't bother with em as they no use to you.

Im still on the 169.09 beta's as they work great, all sets after are cack. :)

weird double post, sorry :p

Why dont you go and get a lesson on helping others (man management skills), you post above was OUT OF ORDER, and I aint the only 1 to think so.

Its only recently Nvidia have even hosted the betas, they used to be hosted on another site.

If you aint gonna post to help then simply dont post.

The Forceware 171.16 beta's are now out for XP (see 171.16 thread). :)

Downloaded and gona test. :p

EDIT: Uninstalled straight away, GT's fan kicks in 100% and stays there. :(

I've not insulted anyone. I've simply stated that if you can't be bothered to look yourself first then you don't deserve help. If that really does insult you, well... damn!

It was not out of order at all. People need to learn not to rely on other people for absolutly pointless things. This thread is like the ones asking "How do I wipe my bum" etc. This is not GD you know!

Nvidia have always hosted beta drivers, either on their main site or on nzone. Even if they didn't, they do now and it only takes a Google search for "nvidia beta" and surprise surprise the first 2 links are direct links to nvidia beta download pages and the next few link to leaked unofficial ones. Even my Mum knows how to use Google! :p

Seems Cyber-Mav and thecremeegg agree with me :) I want a Creme Egg now though :(:p!!!

Agree so far as search functions are there for a reason ;) Anyway back on topic iirc 169.09 beta's are decent as already stated.
